Hospice North Shoreis committed to providing skilled and compassionate care for people with a life limiting illness. We offer specialist services that strive to provide the best possible quality of life for our patients.
Most people prefer to be cared for in their own home whenever they can. To enable this our community team of Nurses, Doctors, Kaiawhina, Physiotherapist and Family Support visit patients at home to support their family/whanau.
Our homely In Patient Unit (IPU) has individual en-suite bedrooms should a patient require short-term admission. Patients returning home from the IPU receive continuing care from the Community Palliative Care Team.
The first thing anyone notices about Linda de Kriek is her beautiful eyes and her infectious smile. The 33-year-old mother of two children might currently be battling a terminal illness, but she is refusing to let it break her spirit or her fight to make the most of every day. Find out more
