Volunteers are essential to the work of Hospice North Shore. Every year, hundreds of people donate their time and talent to help Hospice continue its work in the community.

Some volunteers support the work of our charity on a regular basis, while others support our events and fundraising activities throughout the year.

Fundraising Volunteering

Trees of Remembrance

We are looking for people to help us with the Trees of Remembrance campaign across the North Shore in the lead up to Christmas.  If you are able to spare a couple of hours between 9th – 23rd December contact us by e-mail or phone 09 486 1688.

Rock the Hithe

November Each year
11am – 3.30pm or 3.30pm – 8.30pm
Greenhithe School Hall (Sunnyview Road)

Each year, Rock the Hithe offers up another afternoon of great music from some great NZ bands. The event requires volunteers to: set up, man the kitchen, check tickets and handle door sales, sell raffle tickets, act as 'runners', and pack down.  If you are interested in this event and are able to spare a couple of hours to help, please contact Community Fundraiser Carol Herbert by e-mail or phone 09 486 1688 to put your name on the list of helpers.

If you would like to learn more about volunteering on a regular basis, you can check our volunteer vacancies page or contact Volunteer Services by e-mail or phone at 09 486 1688.
