Driver – Ellice Road Support Centre

Hospice North Shore is a specialist hospice and palliative care service which has been providing quality, professional and dedicated care to patients and families for over 30 years.   The hospice is committed to a forward thinking and innovative approach to service development and collaboration.

About the Role
Our retail business of 8 shops and the Ellice Road Support Centre play an integral role in raising funds for the services we provide to our community. 

The Driver will work with in a team of four that share the responsibility for pick-ups and deliveries of donated goods.  They will also undertake store man duties which include manage recycling, distributing goods between shops and electrical testing.

About You
This is a physical role that will see you on your feet and moving most of the day.  You will be lifting heavy items, such as furniture and fittings and keeping the warehouse in tip top shape.  You will also have:

• Good oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to relate to a diverse customer base
• Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Clean Full Driver license (Class1)
• Be physically fit and capable of moving and lifting heavy items
• Working knowledge of the North Shore transportation routes would be an advantage

This role is working Monday to Friday but you will have the flexibility to work Saturdays when required.
