0.75 FTE (30 hours per week, working Monday to Thursday)
Based at Ellice Road, travelling to Hibiscus or Warkworth one day a week
The Northern Hospice Alliance incorporates Hospice North Shore, Warkworth Wellsford Hospice and Hibiscus Hospice. Together we provide specialist palliative care services to patients and families living within our respective communities. About the Role
This role will be focused on the assessment for sale and safe testing of all electrical products that have been donated to Hospice, so that they can be on-sold. The role will be responsible for overseeing staff and volunteers who do the electrical testing of goods at all three Hospices within the Northern Hospice Alliance – North Shore, Hibiscus and Warkworth Wellsford.
The role will be expected to pitch in and be hands on completing the electrical testing, especially at our North Shore Warehouse.
About You
Your electrical background, ideally as a Registered Electrician or Electrical Inspector, will be essential for you to perform in this role. You will have a history of successfully leading teams and be passionate about health and safety. There’s lots of variety in this role so you will enjoy turning your hand to whatever is needed to get the job done.
