Based at Hospice North Shore
Hospice North Shore is a specialist hospice and palliative care service which has been providing quality, professional and dedicated care to patients and their families for over 30 years. This hospice is committed to a forward thinking and innovative approach to service development and collaboration.
About the role
This role is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with individuals, community groups and retirement villages. Actively creating awareness of Hospice’s holistic services and how people can participate in and support the future of Hospice North Shore by pledging to leave a bequest i.e. Gift in Will.
About You
You will have a warm and engaging personality with the ability to introduce an idea or concept into the conversation naturally. You will be detail oriented, taking pride in maintaining immaculate database records. It may be that you have worked for a not for profit organisation in the past or have some experience with Fundraising although this is not essential; what is important is that your personal values align with those of Hospice North Shore.
Ideally you will have:
• Proven background in relationship based sales
• The ability to create opportunities and network
• Outstanding customer service ie the stewardship of existing supporters
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Strong database management
• High level of written and verbal communication skills including public speaking
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Current and clean full drivers licence
