Donating to our Shops

Our Hospice Shops rely entirely on the generosity of our local community - not only as volunteers and customers who shop with us, but also as donors of good quality stock. If you’re moving house, or simply having a clear-out, donating goods to our shops is a great way to support the work of Hospice North Shore.

Hospice Shops welcome:

Good quality, clean clothing and shoes
Bags and accessories
Jewellery and valuables
Books
Music (CDs, vinyl, DVDs, videos, instruments and sheet music)
Homewares: china, kitchenware, ornaments, pictures
Soft furnishings: small rugs, linen, curtains
Wedding dresses and accessories
Furniture (in selected stores only)

Unfortunately we are unable to accept:

Baby/children's car restraint seats
Helmets
Computers, screens, printers and accessories
Fax machines
Electric blankets
Any electrical goods that have frayed cords or any other obvious faults
Wire wove & divan beds
Hot water bottles
Inflatable toys
Encyclopedias & Readers Digest condensed books and magazines
Cracked/broken glass, china & pottery
Soiled, marked or damaged clothing
Pillows/duvets (bedding) that is marked/mildewed etc
Rusty tin, tools etc
Food items
Drugs, medications, needles - either prescribed or pharmacy purchased
Gas bottles & gas heaters
Paint & flammable liquids
