There are an endless amount of sports, games and activities that you could enjoy with your family, friends or colleagues that could help Hospice. One of many ways you can fundraise for Hospice is by running your own tournament or competition.

Ideas to get you started

With Friends and Family

  • Challenge your friends to a pétanque competition
  • Hold an 'old school' bingo or board games night
  • Have a touch rugby or a fishing competition

At your Workplace

  • "Office Olympics" - who's the fastest typist? Quickest with a calculator?
  • Master chef competition
  • Karaoke or Pub Quiz night

At your School

  • Hold an 'X Factor' type competition
  • Run a football tournament
  • Have a wearable arts contest

Tournaments run for Hospice in the past:

For many years, members in the community have hosted tennis tournaments on courts at tennis clubs or private homes around the North Shore. Attendees pay a registration fee to enjoy a great day of fun and hospitality, with proceeds going to Hospice North Shore. Some of these tennis tournaments also included raffles which added more fun to the day. This is one example of what you can do to raise funds to help Hospice North Shore.
