Many of us love a good challenge - setting yourself a goal can be fun and satisfying. Whether it is something you will 'Take On' or 'Give Up', working towards your goal in support of Hospice is a great motivator and can make achieving your goal that much more satisfying.

You can fundraise for Hospice by setting yourself a goal and getting people to sponsor you; we can help you create a free everydayhero giving page and spread the word.

Ideas to get you started

What you might 'Take On'

What you might 'Give Up'

  • Give up sugar or smoking
  • Can you live without social media? Make a bet with your friends (donation to Hospice!)

Past challenges taken on for Hospice:

Lionel James

In 2014 Lionel James celebrated his birthday by cycling from Browns Bay to St Heliers and back again, raising over $500 for Hospice. On the 24th of January 2015, Lionel set out from the wild Muriwai Beach to the beautiful Browns Bay on one of his "hardest bike rides" due to the sweltering heat; raising over $1,000 for Hospice North Shore. An amazing effort from Lionel!

This is a great example of a challenge some may 'Take On' and use as an opportunity to raise funds for Hospice North Shore.
